hey

i've used synergy for years....love the app. particularly the panel showing up at the beginning of every track and the ability to assign star ratings to hot keys so i can break down my music library. However ....I just started using spotify and I think it's going to be the way we all listen to music very soon. Any chance of doing a synergy for spotify?

    Is this feature still a wish? It would be GREAT to use Synergy with Spotify!! At least the keyboard shortcuts..

    I want to say that too, Spotify integration is a must for me, I find myself moving to Spotify from iTunes, and the more I use it, the less I feel like opening iTunes... but I really miss the Sinergy menubar functionality...

    I'm currently experimenting with a new plug-in architecture which should make this kind of proposal much more feasible; still haven't looked into the technical possibilities on the Spotify side (ie. scriptability and such) but at least on the Synergy side I am trying to make the architecture as extendible as possible to allow for this kind of thing.

    Hey, I was just listening to spotify, and came here to request a feature. Glad to see it's already been done! The play/pause and etc. buttons on my Macbook Pro work for Spotify. Or iTunes, obviously. It's whatever is currently playing. Maybe you could do something like that, where the synergy buttons in the menu bar use whichever app is playing music. It wouldn't be hard to just make your buttons mapped to the keyboard ones (F7, F8, and F9), and it would be an awesome feature! I'm positive you would get more users as well. I've been using synergy for years, and no other app works as well. Keep up the good work. -Gabe

    I agree, Spotify support would be great yeah. I'm only using iTunes now for synchronizing my iPad en iPhone. Spotify is the new iTunes.
