Description

extconf.rb statest that the processor_count function is stolen, but it should be accompanied by its MIT license IMO.

    Thanks for bringing this up.

I don't literally mean "stolen". The license says it should be included with "all copies or substantial portions of the Software". Not a lawyer, but my assessment was that a single isolated method out of the entire project wasn't "substantial".

I obviously want to comply with the license, so I'm happy to revise that decision if my interpretation is wrong here. I'm just not sure what the right guidelines for determine "substantialness" are; I'll probably just message the author and ask his opinion.

I emailed the author and he said he didn't care about the license, although it's not a lot of work for me to add the license text in.

    Marking as closed.

Don't worry, the "stolen" was never issue for me. I know Michael Grosser's attitude toward licenses ;) Thank you for sorting this out.
