Description

I would really appreciate being able to maintain my own personal list of phrases you should be filtering out when searching Amazon.com.

For instance, I use "OST" instead of "Soundtrack", "disco 1" and so on instead of "disc 1", and I always prepend the year before the album title (so that it is sorted chronologically in the album panel in iTunes).

If I was able to say that, for instance, "2003" is not part of the title, the Amazon search would actually work for me.

Thanks

Fabio

Thanks for posting this request, Fabio. I am not sure if there is already a duplicate request for this feature in the database (I know I have received it via mail in the past, but that was probably before Bugzilla was installed on the server).

I agree that this would be a good feature and it is something that is already 90% implemented in Synergy Advance. The main stumbling block to add it to Synergy as well is the lack of space in the UI. In that case it might have to be an advanced option accessible only from the command line...

    Wincent,

it does not have to be through the GUI, though...

I for one would be content if you just provided me with a text file, or an XML file, or a plist, or whatever that could be edited with some kind of application.

    What do you think?

It would be in the preferences plist, which would mean editing it by using the "defaults" command line tool.

    Sounds good to me!

Changing assignment to reflect my new email address.
