Description

Synergy fails to retrieve a lot of album covers for European users because they buy albums that are not registered in the amazon.com. This is because : - they feature artists not very well known in the united states - or the european version of the album has a slightly different title.

Some examples I have in mind are : Daniel Powter (a few months ago) and Fugu.

However, these albums can be found on amazon.co.uk or amazon.fr.

It is suggested that Synergy take into account this problem, for instance by :

- Allowing to switch between different amazon websites in the preferences pane, OR - Choosing the accurate amazon site by "detecting" the country of the user's computer, OR - (BEST) Retrieving the album cover from amazon.com, and, if not found, looking for a limited list of other amazon websites such as amazon.co.uk, as well as amazon.fr, amazon.de, amazon.es, amazon.it, etc. This list may be use-supplied or built from localization information on the user computer.
