Can you provide a more detailed description?

Without more information I can't even begin to investigate the issue.

When i first turn on my computer the floater is in the correct location but when a song with a longer or shorter title is played instead of resizing around the anchor the floater goes partly off screen

Where do you have the Floater located? In what direction does it go off the screen? Does the problem go away when a title of a different length comes up later on? Are there any differences between the behaviour with "longer" titles and that with "shorter" titles? What kind of resizing behaviour were you expecting to see?

Do you have multiple displays? Do you have automatic Dock hiding turned on? Can you provide screenshots of "before" and "after"? Was the problem present in prior versions of Synergy? What version of Mac OS X are you running? On what hardware? Have you tried to reproduce the problem while running under another account?

Based on the information you've provided so far, I can't reproduce the problem and I am not sure exactly what the behaviour is that you're trying to describe.

Changing assignment to reflect my new email address.
