    Thanks for the submission. I've never seen a crash report like this (no backtrace, no binary images description). As such it doesn't really contain any information that I could use to determine the cause of the problem.

    Also I don't know exactly what "EXC_BREAKPOINT" means in this context. Perhaps you have some environment variable set that's a breakpoint to be set. My first step in trouble-shooting this one would therefore be trying to reproduce the problem under a different user account.

    Received another similar crash report from the same user:

    "The update for 10.4.7 has been crashing my OS on the Mac mini G4 1.42 Ghz with 1 GB ram and 3 external drives. I really don't think there's a problem with your code"

    But will keep this issue open for investigation anyway.
