Bug #48: Auto show/hide of menu bar controls and global menu doesn't work

Description

From a forum posting: "Since I updated to 1.5b, the menu control buttons don't change with itunes launch and quit. When I launch itunes, the control buttons to do not come up; the menu bar retains the note icon. When I start playing music by using the control in itunes, the menu bar finally changes. When I quit itunes, it takes about 10 seconds for the menu bar to change."

This bug is related to bug #32 and occurs only when running with iTunes 4.7. I expect both bugs to be fixed by the time the 1.5b beta period ends.

    Ok, this is now fixed in internal builds. You'll get your hands on it when I release 1.5 final. Hopefully that will be soon. If I can just get confirmation that bug #34 is squished, which is the biggest issue discovered in the beta.
