Synergy in dock in version 2.0

    I have just installed Synergy 2.0 on my dual 2.7 Ghz G5 running 10.4.1 and there is now an application icon in the dock for Synergy. This is really quite annoying and need to get rid of this or downgrade to 1.9. I see the other thread about thiss but that is for version 1.9 and I did not have that problem then. Could someone please advise of a fix or a location to download 1.9 again?
