Floater popping up almost continuously?

    For the last few weeks, whenever I'm listening to a streaming station in iTunes the floater comes up every few seconds. I assume the station is sending out track data too frequently or something, and it's confusing Synergy. Anyone have a fix for this? I'm using 1.6.1 with iTunes 4.7 and one of the stations commonly affected is Soma FM Indiepop Rocks. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

    Most likely the floater is popping up because iTunes is sending notifications with new track information. Perhaps the radio station you are listening to is getting a little bit too enthusiastic with the updates it embeds in the stream.

    You can monitor this yourself by using a notification monitoring program. You could probably find one on Version Tracker if you looked. I know that at least one exists, but I don't remember the name of it right now.

    Unfortunately the last few days this same thing has been happening to me, without any streaming going on. Chances are it's a fluke but sometimes the floater will delay for half of a song before popping up and other times when it does come up it will stay visible until i open up the prefs and turn off Synergy.
