Support ticket #1467: floater keeps appearing

Description

The floater feature is turned off, but after a while it reappears..

Also, is there a search feature for the forums?

    Sounds like you might be seeing the Growl floater. Open the System Preferences, click on the Growl preference pane, and check to make sure that it's not set up to show notifications from Synergy.

    As for searching the forums, there is only a site-wide search in the navigation bar at the top of each page; there is not yet a forum-specific search to find stuff only on the forums. I think it's a good idea though; I'll add a feature request to the database so that I don't forget about adding it. (Will have to wait until after the server move next month is complete.) For reference, that ticket number is ticket #1467.
