EC2 or Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud is a part of Amazon Web Services.

The abbreviation is the result of turning "Elastic Compute Cloud" into an acronym, ECC, and then replacing the run of repeated "Cs" with "C2" (in other words "C twice").
